Our No-Cost Energy Efficiency Kit – valued at up to $100 – helps renters and homeowners lower energy usage with easy-to-install upgrades like LED bulbs, weather-stripping, and faucet aerators, as well as useful tools like a smart power strip. (Exact contents of kit may vary depending on availability.) These items are designed to reduce your utility bills and your environmental impact.
Funding for the No-Cost Energy Efficiency Kit is provided by RCEA’s partnership with the Northern Regional Energy Network.

Eligibility
Humboldt County residents who are Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) or Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers are eligible for a No-Cost Energy Efficiency Kit. One kit allowed per address every three years.

- Request Your Kit: Fill out an NREN Residential Services Application online.
