Are you passionate about supporting Humboldt residents, businesses, and public agencies to become more energy efficient? Do you want to join a dedicated team of energy professionals developing local sustainable energy solutions?
Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) has been helping Humboldt County use energy more wisely for over 20 years. The Demand Side Management (DSM) Department has an opening for a Customer Programs Technician, who will be the frontline project manager and trusted energy adviser for local customers.
Under the supervision of a Program Manager, the Customer Programs Technician carries out the following activities:
- Perform energy assessments in homes, businesses, and public facilities.
- Review and analyze customer energy usage.
- Prepare customer energy reports and proposals for energy projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and energy program implementers.
- Manage a portfolio of energy projects from development through completion.
- Assist with design and implementation of new energy programs.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
