At Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA), we are committed to strengthening the resilience and vibrancy of our community. Through our Community Giving Program, we provide financial sponsorships, in-kind support, and staff time to mission-aligned efforts led by local nonprofits, community groups, and educational institutions.
As our community navigates increasing challenges related to cost of living, climate change, and social inequity, RCEA aims to focus support where it can be most impactful. While we cannot fulfill every request, we carefully review each submission based on alignment with our mission and available resources.

Community Support Guidelines

- Promote basic needs and community resilience, including food access, family support services, and community resilience initiatives (excluding medical-related services).
RCEA does not provide funding for:
- Religious events or programs.
- Political parties, campaigns, or ballot measures.
- Sports teams or recreational clubs.
- Organizations whose primary services or products are in opposition to our mission.
- Efforts primarily benefitting individuals or small groups.
