How to Apply for a Rebate
Step 1: Check Eligibility Before You Buy
Make sure the product you want qualifies for a rebate by reviewing the requirements in the Rebate Catalog.
Step 2: Submit Your Application After Installation
Complete the appropriate online rebate application form within 90 days. See the Rebate Catalog for rebate applications and more details.
Step 3: Receive Your Rebate
Once approved, we’ll send you a rebate check for your eligible purchase.

FAQs
Customers with an active RCEA or PG&E electric account in Humboldt County, CA should qualify for rebates. Equipment must be installed at the address served by the RCEA or PG&E account. See the RCEA Rebate Program Terms and Conditions for details.
The account holder or purchaser of the equipment may apply for a rebate for equipment installed at the address served by the RCEA or PG&E account. See the RCEA Rebate Program Terms and Conditions for details.
All equipment that qualifies for a rebate is listed in the Rebate Catalog. Please review the requirements in the Rebate Catalog before purchasing your equipment to ensure it qualifies for a rebate.
To qualify for a rebate, your eligible equipment must have been installed within 90 days at the address served by the RCEA or PG&E electric account.
Used or refurbished equipment does NOT qualify for RCEA rebates.
A receipt, invoice, or work order showing the delivery or installation address matching the address served by the RCEA or PG&E electric account is preferred. If that is not available, contact RCEA for other options which include a geotagged photo of the installed equipment.
Installations of heat pump water heaters and heat pump space heating systems require permitting through your local jurisdiction. You must provide permit information on the application to be eligible for these rebates. See the Rebate Catalog for details.
Rebate applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation of your new appliance. Please see the Rebate Catalog for more details.
For heat pump space heaters (mini-splits or ducted), use the Heat Pump Rebate Application. For everything else, use the Equipment Rebate Application. Links to both rebate applications can be found in the Rebate Catalog.

Commercial rebates are currently unavailable due to changes in funding sources. We do not yet have an estimated relaunch date for commercial rebates, but our rebate team is hard at work updating our application process and commercial rebate catalog. Any updates on the return of commercial rebates will be posted on our website.
