Rebate offerings are dependent on available funding. Rebate amount is determined by the values listed on the RCEA webpage on the date a complete rebate reservation form is received (optional) or a complete application and all supplemental documents are received.

Commercial Equipment Rebate Catalog

Upgrade to high-efficiency equipment to reduce your energy bill. Rebate offerings include: ovens, fryers, dishwashers, ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, and agricultural fans.

Heat Pump Rebate Catalog

Heat pumps have the potential to deliver significant savings on your home or business heating bill because they deliver heat more efficiently than other sources. Heat Pumps use improved air conditioner technologies to move heat inside during winter or move heat outside during summer. We offer several different types of rebates for both homes and businesses.

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 offers funding, programs, and incentives to accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy and lower the cost for consumers across all technologies and customer types including residential, commercial, tribal, low-income, and more.

Electric Vehicle Rebates

NON-RESIDENTIAL (and RESIDENTIAL) 

The Redwood Coast Energy Authority’s electric vehicle rebate, funded by RCEA’s Community Choice Energy program, aims to increase the number of electric vehicles in Humboldt county and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This rebate is an additional rebate to the state Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) as a limited time offer. RCEA customers are eligible receive 50% of whatever incentive amount they received from the CVRP.

Energy Storage Incentives

Statewide incentives for energy storage

NON-RESIDENTIAL (and RESIDENTIAL) 

Take advantage of rebates available for a limited time for installing energy storage technology such as batteries at homes, businesses, and public facilities. Energy storage can reduce utility bills and keep the lights on during a power outage. Humboldt County Homes and Businesses are eligible for incentives provided by the California Public Utilities Commission’s (CPUC) Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP).

RCEA’s Demand Response Provider Referral List

RESIDENTIAL & NON-RESIDENTIAL

Demand Response programs allow customers to actively participate in managing energy usage, and save or earn money, while also supporting the overall grid reliability.

By enrolling in a Demand Response program, customers can make a difference by adjusting electricity consumption during high-demand periods when the grid is stressed.

GoGreen Business Energy Financing

NON-RESIDENTIAL

Administered by the State of California, GoGreen Business Energy Financing helps small and medium-sized businesses make energy efficiency upgrades that can save money and boost business performance. GoGreen Business offers a variety of attractive financing products to property owners and tenants, as well as more than 200 energy-saving measures including efficient heating and cooling systems, LED lighting, fans, well pumps, cool roofs, insulation, ENERGY STAR appliances, and more.
